The Bradshaw Library building is open to the public. Print resources (not on course reserves) and are accessible in the building during operating hours. Visitors may be able to access electronic resources while in the building- please inquire at the Circulation Desk to set up access. 
 
The ability to borrow print materials is limited to FGCU affiliates, student, staff, and faculty from other Florida public colleges and universities, and Southwest Florida residents (see below for definitions). 
 
The ability access electronic resources (e-books and articles from databases) from outside the library building is limited to current FGCU faculty (including adjuncts and courtesy faculty), staff, and students. Your FGCU email is your log-in. Alumni and Other Users (defined below) do not have access to online library resources remotely. 
 
FGCU Affiliates:

Current FGCU faculty (including adjuncts and courtesy faculty), staff, and students with valid network credentials (i.e., FGCU email address). Your Eagle ID and UIN acts as your library card. 

 

Other Users:

State Universities & Colleges of Florida: Current faculty, staff and students. Please present your current ID issued by your home institution.

Southwest Florida Community residents: Current adult residents can be issued an FGCU Community Borrower’s Card with proof of residence in Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, or Lee counties. Photo-IDs such as driver’s license, state issued photo ID, or passport may serve as proof of residence. Please use the Application Form for Adults.

Minors: Minors are eligible for borrowing privileges with the written consent of a parent or guardian. The parent/guardian is responsible for the return of library materials and any charges incurred through the use of the card. Please fill out the Application Form for Minors.
