Yes! The FGCU Library has access to thousands of academic ebooks. All of our ebooks can be read on a computer with an internet browser. Some may also be downloaded to your tablet or phone. For complete information, see the other Ebooks FAQ entries.

Ebooks are usually prominently featured when searching EagleSearch, the library's catalog. To narrow a search to only ebooks in the library catalog:

1. Search for your keywords in Eagle Search.

2. Below the search box is a drop down menu that says "All items". Click that and select "Books" to see only books.  Click the magnifying glass to search again.

3.Once the results are narrowed to Book, go back to the availability limiter on the left and select "available online."

If you want to browse some of our ebook collections (ProQuest, EBSCO, Springer, etc.) you can go directly to those collections to search or browse. You can see these collections by going to the Databases list and narrowing to type "ebook".
