Yes. The Library obtains copyright permissions and pays reasonable royalty fees, when necessary, for each item placed on course reserve. Items that the Library deems not in compliance with copyright laws and guidelines will not be accepted. See Course Reserve Policies & Procedures for more information.

Books or articles obtained through interlibrary loan may not be put on course reserves. 

Whenever possible, items places on course reserve that are not already in an unlimited access form for FGCU students should be limited to student enrolled the course. The Leganto course materials platform manages this type of electronic access for you. 

The library can not digitize/scan entire print books to be put on course reserve.
