Q. Do I have to manage my ScholarsCommons research profile?

Your researcher profile is automatically generated via Workday. ScholarsCommons is capable of locating many works from the library's central index which are then added to your profile after library staff confirms it was work produced by you. It is not mandatory for you to create or manage this profile if you do not wish to do so. However, researchers are strongly encouraged to add relevant information to create a full and engaging research profile, including items like research interests, research agenda, biography, or photo. For those who wish to expedite the process, you may fill out this form here instead. Researchers may also manually add indirectly-related research outputs (grant information, references in the media) and professional activities (consulting work, clinical work, etc.) to their profiles as well.
