ScholarsCommons collects and displays the research and scholarly output of FGCU's faculty and staff in a way that communicates the value of the work and how it relates to the researcher and other scholarly work at the university.

Publications and research data can be easily showcased via discovery services and institutional research portals, enabling the academic community to browse by different categories and search through research content.

Relationships between research assets are displayed clearly, enabling users to easily locate assets such as a dataset connected to a publication while reviewing its related conference presentation.

Users can also search through researcher profiles, browse through their research output and achievements, and view their activity over time. Researchers can manage their public profile to ensure it’s up to date with their most recent work and upload new content. Users can also search through departmental affiliation for an overview of the breadth of scholarship developed by FGCU departments.

For step-by-step information on how to log in to your researcher profile and add materials, refer to the ScholarsCommons User Guide. For any additional assistance or consultations, please contact Research Systems & Applications Librarian Kaleena Rivera at krivera@fgcu.edu.
