FGCU Library is open to the general public and you need not be a student to use services offered on site. However, only currently enrolled FGCU students, active faculty and staff are allowed remote access to electronic resources (databases, ejournals, ebooks, etc.) because these are services contracted and licensed for FGCU affiliates only.
However, non-affiliate SWF residents may access electronic resources on site and may also apply for borrowing privileges and use other library services available while on campus. A photo ID and proof of residence is needed to apply for borrowing privileges.

Students from other Florida public universities and community colleges have borrowing privileges at FGCU and all state universities. They must present their university ID and be in good standing with their home institution when requesting privileges.
